Purchased a Dell 700M laptop from this seller, and had a bad experience.

I purchased the 700M, and there were two problems that weren\'t mention in the ad:

The touch pad doesn\'t work properly, and skips around.

One of the cooling fans makes a noise and is screwed up.

After JM12345 received my money, I have tried to contact him via e-mail, phone, and PMs and he has ignored me... His solution to these problems was to call Dell, but there is no warranty left.

Beware when buying from him, I hate to say that I am disappointed and think of this as a mistake. The laptop was not in the \"9/10\" condition he claims, and now he has ignored me for two weeks straight.

Just want to give everyone a heads up.

Unfortunately the transaction wasn't smooth as usual. The drive arrived dead and has different specs than what John had though. He made a human mistake of reading what was written on the Dell box and not the drive. To his credit, he took responsibility and took the drive back and gave me 2 options: 1) refund or 2)wait for rma. I opted to wait for rma. Unfortunately, rma wasn't smooth neither and John promptly refunded my money in full with an option to buy the drive from him once he gets the drive back from rma.

Though the transaction wasn't smooth but I feel John earns a positive heat for taking responsibility to accept mistakes and to correct them as soon as possible. Again, I would not hesitate to deal with John again.

This is John's first heatware feedback and I'm proud to be the first to give him my evaluation. John has no heat and very minimal ebay feedback. Naturally, I was little cautious since I have been scammed before. John provided me with his telephone number and we chatted a little. After the conversation with him, I felt very comfortable in paypaling him the money. The item was shipped very promptly and arrived as described. Overall, excellent communication and excellent deal. Cross Traded; I had a Palm Treo 700W and an iPAQ and wanted a nice condition VX6700 pDA Phone.

We were not sure how to do this deal as far as shippeng to each other. I started out and shipped my Palm 700W (As I had a old VX6600 phone for back up). So I sent my phone out first.
And as soon as he got the phone he emailed and phoned me.
Then he packed up his phone and we shipped each others items.
The Phone I got was in great condition as he said it was.

Very Happy with dealing with him and would deal again if the occasssion evre comes up again.
Good Communications too, we both had a lot of questions to satrt and he always got back fast.
